What You Must NOT Do When Locked Out
08/28/2013 Back To BlogWhen you are locked out of your house, your first concern is definitely to find a way to get in. Though, you cannot risk your life jumping big distances or trying to reach high windows unless you are 007 or used to work in the circus. In any other case, you just need to stay still and better use your brains than your body in order to find a solution to get in.
We would all agree that an apartment lockout can be a real disappointment because even if you had left a window open, you won't be able to climb in there. Don't get carried away by what you see on films and remember that Batman, Spiderman, Superman and any other creature that crawls on walls or flies is just part of the fantasy world. You have no relation. The only resemblance lies on the fact that you all want to have these door locks open now.
Keep focus
Peculiar situations like an auto lockout may disorient you, but try to stay focused. When your keys break or are missing, you can't use any tool to unlock the car because you might ruin the locks. If your car is relatively new and works with a transponder key, you will do lots of damage to the brain of the system. On the other hand, you cannot talk to strangers, either. This is a very dangerous world. Remember? It would be wiser to use your mobile and call a friend to come and pick you up.
Of course, if you are locked out of your house and no one has your keys, your options are limited. Yet, if matters get worse, it is better to break the lock and then proceed with lock change right away instead of trying to reach the window from the roof. You might be flexible, but don't take your chances.
